Sometimes very large things come in impossibly tiny packages and blow us away with shock and awe.
We’ve seen our fair share of fur babies trying to practice their most terrifying roars here on LittleThings. After all, big cats’ “meows” are an important part of their survival as adults, as they use their booming sounds to let potential predators know who’s boss. But as tiny little kittens (or in some cases, rather large kittens), their futile attempts at big sounds are a heart-melting aural experience.
Surely you won’t need much convincing after you watch a lion cub try his hand at a ferocious roar right after being bottle-fed. (Seriously, any cat lovers may as well grab the tissues now!) And there’s another white lion cub whose rehabilitation in Serbia afforded the Associated Press some incredible footage of the little stinker trying desperately to make its big cat sound like a mere baby.
The video below follows a similar narrative. This little kitten crawled into a ski boot (which looks remarkably warm) and woos us with her teacup stature and snow-colored fur coat. But just you wait until the end, because there’s more to this little cutie than meets the eye!
